Mekanism Research Reflection
When I did research on mekanism I learned that mechanism makes commercials. Mekanism uses stop motion to make commercials. People repaired that Mekanism office looks like the Dsa lab. Which means it looks like a compfy place to work and has a homely feeling.
I learned that the Mekanism organization is a creative company that builds digital audiences. Mekanism attracts the customers or clients are people who need housing film, and the clients ate really big organizations who need commercials to sell their products. Something really big that I learned was mechanism has been in business for 11 years.

Reflective essay (KTVU)
On my trip to KTVU, I learned a lot of things. My favorite part of the trip was going on tour around KTVU. Some of the things that I learned from going to KTVU news broadcasting station were KTVU is a San Francisco and Bay Area channel that shows on channel 2. I thought you could watch KTVU everywhere. KTVU has been around for 50 years so that means it has been around since 1960. KTVU is now changing to or changing there cameras to HD.
During the tour at KTVU we saw a lot of different cameras. The cameras that we seen were automatic. The cameras moved around by themselves. I think someone is in another room controlling them. These cameras were very big and interesting. I didn’t ask but I think they were because how would the cameras know to follow the people.
At KTVU, just like any other studio where they make movies, KTVU has a lot of lights. The ceiling was full of lights. My tour was given by Rosy Chu. Rosy Chu was a very good guide. Chu has been working at KTVU for more than 10 years. I got to ask Rosy Chu a lot of different questions. She didn’t hesitate to answer them either. I learned that it is hard to work in the KTVU environment.
While at KTVU we got to watch Tori Campbell record the 12 o’clock news. What I didn’t know about Tori Campbell was she only messed words once or twice while doing the news. She doesn’t mess up her words because she proof reads she script before it is shown on the projector. It is really important for her to read before she records because the words move really fast. We also got to watch the weather man too.
The interview the students and I did with Rosy Chu was very good. She answered all the questions. The most important question I asked Rosy Chu was what are the biggest challenges of her job. Her answer was she has to try to keep up with everything that is going on. Rosy Chu job description isn’t just focused on one thing. It is focused on being able to multitask. Another important question that was ask was if you could change anything about KTVU what would it be. She answered if I could change anything about KTVU it would be to slow everything down. Rosy Chu most important challenge of the day is trying to put everything in one work place. Because there is so much stuff that needs to be done.

College Visit Reflective Essay
On our trip to Uc Berkeley I expected to see a lot. I mostly expected to see the dormitories, and see what college life was really about. I really expected to go in to a library, or in a class room to see how big they are. But instead of seeing classroom from the inside, I heard that UC Berkeley has over 2 million books. I knew that there were going to be students outside protesting, about something that is important to them and they wanted to inform the public.
Before we went to Berkeley, I didn’t think that college was just for partying, and I still don’t think that its just for parting. I always knew that college was for people who really want to go and become something important in life. But what I didn’t know that was college is so hard. It takes a lot of effort and hard work to get there. What most impressed me was how many student are in one class. I wonder if it is hard for the students to understand the teacher without asking the teacher during class. I learned that to go to college you have to have extra curricular activities and you have to do community service. I also learned that to get into Berkeley you have to write 2 essay that both add up to 1000 words.
I was even more impressed by the classes. Some college classes sit up to 800 students and every day those seats are filled. I was also impressed by how it is very easy for the students to meet their teachers because all the teacher offices are in one big building. Even though the classes are that big, the students still get 3 hours of homework per 1 hour of class. Classes are 5-4 hours a week so students get 9 to 12 hours of homework for each class. That may seem like a lot but it really isn’t. It cost a lot of money to go to college.
But it is worth the effort and the amount.

First Semester
The 1st semester was fun and interesting. I learned a lot of interesting material. My favorite part of the semester was using photoshop and taking pictures. Photoshop was difficult at the begining, but the more you use it the easier it get. I learned how to take great pictures from different angels . I really like my Hoof project because I got to learn new things about my family and i got to tell people what my grandma had to go through in her life , what she strived to overcome. We just started to use Bryce 3d and it is very hard.

I am thankful for my mom, because she has been here for me my whole life. She is a very wonderful, generous person and i love to be around her. Most importantly she stay strong through everything that is going on in my family. When she wants to break down and cry she does it in privacy ( I think it is because she wants me to learn to always stay strong and keep my head up high)
